Class of 2009

Class of 2009
16th Bday, see ya Mom

Brothers. 2004

Yes it 2009 and what does that mean? That means my first baby graduates this year. Everyone has told me that after Christmas that it will fly by. So I guess I better grab a hold and hang on huh. It has gone by fast. I sit sometimes and wonder what it is gonna be like without Matthew in school right down the road?

I wonder what it is gonna be like to not have so much say so in his life. What will it be like to wonder what the heck he is doing? I am not looking forward to that. What is it gonna be like the first week he is gone. Waiting on him to call me. And most of all I wonder what it will be like for his little Brother Jaden? It is gonna be an adjustment for all of us.

Matthew does not know where he wants to go yet , but he has several things in mind. We are still waiting to see what this spring brings with Baseball. He is now released from his therapy twice a week and is throwing everyday. He says he feels good, so that makes me very HAPPY!

As we sit back and enjoy what the last few months of his senior year have to offer please keep us in your prayers. Pray that Matthew will continue to get better and better.

I am so thankful that he is such a good kid (even though we don't see eye to eye all the time), he makes good grades, he did good on his ACT, he is just a great young man.

He has kept a job for over a year and a half. First job and still has it.

Matt is a great young man. Michelle, you have done your job and it will be hard to let him go. I am so proud of Matt and so proud of his Mother. It makes me cry to think of him big enough to be out on his own.

I wish I had the money to send him to Vandy. At $60,000 a year, I would do it, if I could. I am sure Matt will go to a great school.

Isn't Matt the cutest class of 2009 young man in the whole-wide-world? You betcha!!!!

You did good so I don't think you have to worry too much. You've given him a good foundation. Matt has always been so cool!!

Love ya,
Anna Mae

It will be an adjustment letting Matthew go to college...one thing I am dreading even at this point. Community college sounds nice to me for Noah and Holly. Noah keeps telling me he wants to go to the military. So I tell him you better be a very good athlete and get straight A's so you can get into West Point. That's my idea of being in the military.
