The start of Senior meltdowns......

Well today we had to go and get Matt's senior pictures made for the year book. As we are driving down the road on the interstate what does it start to do?

It started to pour down rain. Lovely.

I was gonna do a few pictures outside, but that got washed out.

We are going somewhere else to do the "REAL" pictures anyway.

Anyway, we walk into this OLD house that is the studio and Matthew can barely walk thru the door frames because they are so short and he is so tall.

First it was the nice TUX picture (not), then it was time for the cap and gown. Ok people, really could someone have warned me about this. I had a melt down then he ordered his class ring, but seeing him walk around that corner with a cap and gown on was more than my almost 40 heart could stand. It was a REAL eye opener.

And as you can see, Jaden had to get his 2 cents in also.

about baseball for a while. We finished up this weekend!! I am sure all you non baseball people are happy!!

Yes,I spent my entire weekend and I do mean my entire weekend at the ball field in temp' s of about 97. Heat index in the 100's.

Matthew played in another World Series Tournament . They came in 2nd place again, but

they played hard.

Anyway... here are a few pics.

Next he will be doing BOWLING for the High school.

By the way.... Matthew will be a Senior this year .. CLASS OF 09'.

Ok,people! You have exactly 5 months til Christmas Eve. Start shopping!

Just thought I would share that with you.

Today is a Gorgeous day in Middle Tennessee. The sun is shinning , and it is a nice dry temperature of about 65. You can't ask for a better day than that.

Don't get excited though, it is gonna hit 90 today and mid 90's by the weekend with the great, bad hair day humidity coming back. But I LOVE SUMMER!!!

Yes it is back to school already, and no I AM NOT ready. I actually have had a very hard morning with it. But on the bright side, Jaden was ok with it (for now).

I got up at 5:45 am and got stuff going, and then Jaden got up at 6:40 a.m.

He was tired, but for the most part sorta anxious.



Oh, and have I mentioned what we go thru when it comes to what he is wearing to school. He has to have his own outfit picked out. He is worse than any girl. I am not sure where in the world he gets this from (me).... LOL.

Wish my teenager cared like that......... :)He is 17 and I usually put his clothes out so he will match! (kidding)

Jaden gets out at 11:00am today, and then we will be doing a fun afternoon at the pool with Lauren, Dawson, Eric, and Brandon. It is just suppose to be 96 today...

After it was all over, they still had a lot of fun.

Well, this did not turn out how we wanted , but to make it to this game was a lot of fun. We had a great day on Saturday and we made it to the Championship game. We were the final 2 out of 38 teams. We played teams from Ohio, Canada, Conn. and several other.



Today was the big game. As the boys would tell you.... we went to the BIG dance.

Matt was told he would pitch this game. He was so excited, as so was I . It didn't go so

great, but it didn't go great for the other 5 pitchers that he put in after Matt.

During the 1st inning there were 2 errors that kills a pitcher. But it is a game, and that is gonna happen.

To make a long story short we lost 21-0....... OH YEA that is what I said. It was a good OLE" fashion butt whoppin!!!!!!!! To put it mildly.



We play another world series this weekend and then ball is over for a few months. This weekend is the 19U age group! Should be nice and HOT again and a lot of fun.

That is all we seem to do these days. Matthew is almost done with his summer season with the Murfreesboro Diamondbacks. It has been a lot of fun.

Wednesday started the 18U World Series. They have won all 3 games played so far.

They played last night in Franklin ..... and to make a long story short one of our other players started the game and then after 5 innings they pulled him and put someone else in. Of course I didn't expect to see Matt, but all of a sudden I see this 6'5" kid walking out of the bull pen.

Oh yes, it's Matt. Well he came in the middle of the 5th to finish the game. He did great. The team we played was from Canada. We play again today at 3pm.

Wee little man visits the POOL!

Well ladies......eat your heart out!
Dawson came to visit us last night and we had a big time. It was so hot outside we decided to go to the pool and watch Jaden swim.
So we packed up the stroller and headed for a walk to the pool.
Jaden wanted to go swim. So, we go there and Jaden got in and it didn't take long for Dawson to figure out that it was a pool full of water and he acted like he wanted to jump in. So what did I do, I stripped him down to his diaper (I know redneck,but he didn't have his speedo) and we sat by the baby pool and I dipped his wee little toes in the water. Needless to say he loved it.
The we sat in the lounge chair and watched Jaden and a couple other kids.
Dawson absolutely loved it.

He watched those kids and just had a ball.
The funniest thing is some other neighbors that I don't know that well seen me holding Dawson and said "Man that kid cant be yours , he looks so white". Well DUH.... he is 6 months old TODAY and I have sat out in the sun roasting at all the ballgames I am at.

Blue Bird feeding babies. I had just sat her worms out on the top.
Look at me, Im very still. Put that camera up.

Lately I have seen several rabbits around the house, and I still have baby blue birds.

And now we put up a finch feeder and I have several BRIGHT YELLOW finches.

I have not been able to get a good picture of them on the feeder yet, but I will.
